Help us build the Cafe OS, with your cafe in the room.
Brewly is the Cafe OS: the counter, the kitchen, the shelf and the team in one system, built around how an independent cafe works. Before launch, we are working closely with a small group of cafes who care about how their place feels and how it runs.
Who we are looking for
A mixed room, on purpose.
We are not looking for one kind of cafe. We are putting a group together: new cafes and established ones, owners who have never used a point of sale and owners who have used several, first-time founders and people with a career in hospitality, specialty coffee rooms and neighbourhood bakeries.
What we look for in each is character: a clear sense of what the place is, a view on how it should feel, and the candour to tell us what works and what does not.
- A point of view. You know what you are making, even if you are still making it.
- Candour. You will tell us when something gets in the way of service.
- Time. A regular conversation with us. In the first wave, in your cafe.

What we ask of you
- A regular conversation: weekly or fortnightly, in person where we can.
- To use Brewly in the real running of your cafe, as far as is sensible.
- Honest feedback, including the uncomfortable kind.
- Anonymised operating data, so we can improve the product.
- A willingness to be a reference after launch, if the experience earns it.
What you can expect from us
- Direct access to the people building the product.
- Real influence over what is built, and in what order.
- Hands-on setup, with a person rather than a help article.
- Founding terms set out in writing before you commit to anything.
- Plain honesty: this is a beta. Things will change, and some will break.
How selection works
A person reads every application.

Apply
About ten minutes. Tell us about the cafe, about you, and why this matters to you.

We read it, individually
No score decides. We look at the cafe, the person, and how well the two fit with where the product is today.
- 03
A conversation
Twenty to thirty minutes, by video or in person, about how your cafe actually runs.
- 04
A visit
In Ahmedabad and the region we come and see the cafe in service. Elsewhere, a video walk-through.
- 05
Agreement and onboarding
In waves. If a wave is full, you join the waitlist and we tell you where you stand.
Wave one
We start close to home, in Ahmedabad and the region, so we can sit in your cafe, watch a real service, and answer quickly to what we see.

Write the way you would talk to us across the counter. There are no right answers, and most questions are optional. The ones that matter most are marked.

Does it cost anything to apply?
No. Applying costs nothing and carries no obligation.
What will Brewly cost?
Pricing will be announced at launch. Accepted cafes receive their founding terms in writing before they commit to anything.
I have never used a point of sale. Should I apply?
Yes. A cafe that is starting from paper or a spreadsheet teaches us things an experienced user can no longer see.
My cafe has not opened yet.
That is welcome if you expect to open within about six months and have a clear concept. Tell us what you are building.
Which cities are you starting in?
Ahmedabad and the surrounding region first, because we will be in your cafe regularly. Mumbai, Pune, Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai follow in later waves.
What happens to what I write here?
We use it to consider your application and to contact you, and for nothing else. We do not sell it or pass it on.
What if the wave is full?
You join the waitlist, and we tell you honestly where you stand and roughly when to expect a place.
